Remote controlled robot from scratch using an Arduino, 2 motors, infrared remote control, ultrasonic sensor and L298N motor driver to control the motors.
The ultrasonic sensor calculates the time taken for the ultrasound waves to hit the floor and bounce back. Taking into account the speed of ultrasound waves, the distance above ground is calculated. If this distance is above a limit, it automatically stops.

I have completed practical task modules in cracking leaked passwords database. I have successfully identified the specific hashing algorithms and decrypted the leaked passwords. I also suggested ways to secure the database so passwords are more protected.
I gained insight into how a computer science degree can shape my career and I networked with software engineers at ARM. We also developed a remote-controlled robot using BBC Microbits as a team.
During the programme, I gained a better understanding of the career pathways within technology and knowledge of key employability and transferable skills, as well as a sound awareness of employer expectations.
